Dr. Eleonora Pargoletti received the B.Sc. in Chemistry (2013) and M.Sc. in Chemical Sciences (2015) at University of Milan (Italy). After a post-graduate scholarship in 2016, she obtained the Ph.D. in Industrial Chemistry at the same University in 2020, under the supervision of Prof. Giuseppe Cappelletti. During the Ph.D. she was awarded an Erasmus Mundus Scholarship (NANOPHI project - 9th call, by EU) with which she moved to the Australian National University (Canberra, Australia) working with Prof. Antonio Tricoli. Then, she was appointed as Post-Doctoral Fellow at University of Milan (2020-2022, supervised by Prof. Alberto Vertova) and Invited Visiting Researcher (2022-2023, on Sydney Nano 2022 Grand Challenge project's funds: "Nanosensing Airborne Pathogens for Public Biosecurity" led by Prof. Antonio Tricoli) at the University of Sydney (Australia). In 2023 she joined the University of Milan as fixed-term Junior Researcher (RTDA) being a recipient of the "Young Researchers ERC/MSCA/SOE" call by the Italian Ministry of University and Research (funded by the European Union - NextGenerationEU). In 2025, she got promoted to Tenure Track Assistant Professor (RTT) at University of Milan.
She has been also appointed as Visiting Researcher at Drexel University, A.J. Drexel Nanomaterials Institute (Philadelphia, PA, US) working in Prof. Yury Gogotsi's group (September 2024 - March 2025).
